Ofcourse offers products and services provided by Ofcourse (Parent Company – Octopodo Internationals Pvt. Ltd. , Surat, Gujarat, India) our subsidiaries, and our branches (collectively, “Ofcourse,” “us,” “we,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, apps, and other products and services (“Services”). As some of our Services may be software that is downloaded to your computer, phone, tablet, or other device, you agree that we may automatically update this software, and that these Terms will apply to such updates. Please read these Terms carefully, and contact us if you have any questions, requests for information, or complaints. By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, including the policies referenced in these Terms.

1. Using Ofcourse

Who May Use Our Services?

Any use or access by anyone under the age of 13 is strictly prohibited.

Additionally, you may use our Services only if you:

can form a binding contract with Ofcourse;

comply with these Terms, all applicable laws, and our policies (including the Acceptable Use Policy, Honor Code, course-specific eligibility requirements, and any other policies that may be applicable from time to time (“Policies”)); and

are over the age at which you can provide consent to data processing under the laws of your country. Certain regions and Content Offerings may have additional requirements and/or different age restrictions.

Any violation of our Terms, applicable laws, or Policies may result in your access to all or part of the Services being suspended, disabled, or terminated.

When you create your Ofcourse account, and when you subsequently use certain features, you must provide us with accurate and complete information, and you agree to update your information to keep it accurate and complete.

Our License to You

Subject to these Terms and our Policies, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license right to use our Services. The rights granted herein are only for your personal, non-commercial use, unless you obtain our written permission otherwise. You also agree that you will create, access, and/or use only one user account, unless expressly permitted by Ofcourse, and you will not share access to your account or access information for your account with any third party. Using our Services does not give you ownership of or any intellectual property rights in our Services or the content you access.

Commercial Use

Any use of our Services for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited. Any commercial use must be subject to a separate agreement with Ofcourse ( Octopodo Internationals Pvt. Ltd. ). If you are an organization already using our Services, separate terms apply. These terms do not govern the relationship between your organization and Ofcourse. If you want to be an expert associated partner with us then there are certain conditions, rules that you must follow.

2. Platform Services

Ofcourse platform exclusively provides below services. You must follow the Terms of uses.

Learning Courses and Video Content

Courses containing informative videos on different topics are provided by Ofcourse Team, our associate partners, educators, experts, mentors, educational institutes etc. Ofcourse takes utmost care to bring you the best world class knowledge. However, the topics and its

explanation, views, opinions are completely depended upon individual instructor’s knowledge.

Ofcourse doesn’t support or accept anything spoken by any means or gestures in this section. Ofcourse doesn’t endorse expert’s/instructor’s views, opinion and beliefs. Ofcourse doesn’t guarantee the accuracy and authenticity of the content. This content is only for information and general understanding of the topics. So, Ofcourse also advise you to take it according to your belief and use your own conscious.

Ofcourse may provide users with access to learning courses, lessons, tutorials, lectures, demonstrations, and other educational materials consisting of videos, audio, presentations, documents, assessments, exercises, or other content created, produced, curated, or made available by Ofcourse, its administrators, instructors, experts, or other authorized content providers (“Course Content”).

The Course Content is provided for general educational and informational purposes only and is intended to support learning and skill development. Unless expressly stated otherwise, completion of a course, viewing of Course Content, or participation in any learning activity does not constitute a guarantee of employment, promotion, admission, professional qualification, certification, licensing, examination success, income, business results, or any particular career or educational outcome.

Ofcourse may make Course Content available on a paid or free basis and may determine the courses, instructors, experts, curriculum, format, duration, availability, access period, pricing, and other applicable conditions at its sole discretion. Ofcourse reserves the right to add, modify, update, replace, suspend, or discontinue any course, lesson, video, instructor, expert, or other Course Content at any time.

Where Course Content is provided by an expert, instructor, or other third-party content provider, the views, opinions, recommendations, examples, and statements expressed by such person are their own and do not necessarily represent the views or opinions of Ofcourse. Ofcourse does not guarantee that all Course Content is complete, current, error-free, or suitable for every user’s individual circumstances.

Users are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable right to access and view the Course Content solely for their personal, non-commercial educational purposes, subject to these Terms and any applicable subscription or course-specific conditions.

Unless expressly authorized by Ofcourse, users shall not copy, reproduce, download, record, screen-capture, redistribute, publish, transmit, sell, license, sublicense, modify, adapt, publicly display, publicly perform, share account access to facilitate access by others, or otherwise exploit any Course Content, in whole or in part. Users shall also not use Course Content to create, train, develop, or distribute competing educational content or services where such use is prohibited by applicable law or these Terms.

All intellectual property rights in Course Content, including videos, recordings, scripts, presentations, graphics, course materials, and other materials created or provided by Ofcourse or its authorized content providers, shall remain with the ofcourse. Except for the limited access right expressly granted under these Terms, no ownership or other intellectual property rights are transferred to the user.

Ofcourse may use reasonable technical measures to protect Course Content against unauthorized access, copying, recording, distribution, or other misuse. Any attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with such measures may result in suspension or termination of the user’s access and may constitute a violation of applicable law.

Ofcourse may, at its discretion, provide certificates, completion badges, assessments, scores, or other recognition upon satisfaction of specified requirements. Unless expressly stated otherwise, such recognition is not a government, regulatory, university, professional, or third-party accreditation and does not by itself establish any professional qualification or entitlement.

Ofcourse may temporarily restrict or suspend access to Course Content for maintenance, technical issues, security reasons, legal requirements, policy violations, or other operational reasons. Where reasonably practicable, Ofcourse may provide notice of material changes affecting users’ access to paid Course Content, subject to the applicable refund, subscription, or cancellation terms.

Users acknowledge that educational content may become outdated due to changes in technology, industry practices, laws, regulations, or other circumstances. Users are responsible for independently evaluating and applying information obtained through the courses and, where appropriate, obtaining qualified professional advice before relying on such information for significant personal, financial, legal, medical, business, or professional decisions.

Audio Waves and Live Discussions

Audio Waves refers to Audio Rooms/sessions (for user’s understanding)

This content is only for information and general understanding of the topics. So, Ofcourse also advise you to take it according to your belief and use your own conscious.

Terms while using Audio waves

Audio waves are the audio rooms created by Ofcourse Team, our associate partners, educators, experts, mentors, educational institutes for educational discussion purpose only. Any student/user should not use derogatory comments on any individual/ group/ nation/ caste/ sub caste/ gender through any means. You should not speak any sort of defamatory language/speech towards any individual, group, nation, caste, sub caste, gender etc.

User must use these services in polite manner and in good faith.

Use of any inappropriate defamatory language, slang is completely prohibited.

Indulging in any such activities will result in permanent/temporary ban on using our service/services.

Ofcourse may provide users with access to live or recorded audio rooms, discussion rooms, sessions, talks, Q&A sessions, panel discussions, workshops, or other audio-based learning and community experiences hosted, moderated, or conducted by Ofcourse, its administrators, instructors, experts, or other authorized participants (“Audio waves”).

Audio Sessions/waves are provided primarily for educational, informational, and discussion purposes. The views, opinions, statements, recommendations, and information expressed by any administrator, expert, instructor, guest, or participant during an Audio Session are their own and do not necessarily represent the views or official position of Ofcourse. Ofcourse does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or suitability of any information communicated during an Audio Session.

Ofcourse may determine the availability, schedule, duration, format, speakers, moderators, participants, access requirements, and other conditions applicable to any Audio Session/waves. Ofcourse reserves the right to reschedule, modify, suspend, restrict, cancel, or discontinue any Audio Session/waves, speaker participation, or audio-room feature at any time, including for operational, technical, security, legal, or other legitimate reasons.

Participation in an Audio Session/waves does not create any advisory, professional, employment, agency, fiduciary, or other special relationship between the user and Ofcourse, administrator, expert, instructor, guest, or other participant. Unless expressly stated otherwise, participation or completion of an Audio Session/waves does not constitute or guarantee any professional certification, qualification, employment, admission, promotion, financial return, business result, or other particular outcome.

Where users are permitted to speak, ask questions, or otherwise participate in an Audio Session/waves, users are solely responsible for their statements and conduct. Users must not make unlawful, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harassing, provoking, discriminatory, misleading, fraudulent, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate statements, disclose another person’s confidential or private information without authorization, impersonate another person, or use the Audio Session/waves for unauthorized advertising, solicitation, spam, or other prohibited activity.

Ofcourse may, where permitted by applicable law and subject to appropriate notice or consent requirements, record, store, reproduce, transcribe, moderate, review, or otherwise process Audio Sessions/waves for purposes including providing the service, creating course materials, quality assurance, moderation, safety, dispute resolution, compliance, training, analytics, and improving Ofcourse.

By voluntarily speaking or otherwise contributing audio during an Audio Session/waves, the user grants Ofcourse a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable and

sublicensable license, for the duration of the applicable rights, to host, store, reproduce, distribute, communicate, transcribe, adapt, modify, and use such contribution as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, improve, moderate, promote, and develop Ofcourse and its services, subject to applicable privacy laws and Ofcourse’s Privacy Policy.

Users must not record, capture, reproduce, rebroadcast, distribute, publish, sell, commercially exploit, or otherwise make available any Audio Session/waves or portion thereof without Ofcourse’s prior written authorization, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

Ofcourse may moderate Audio Sessions/waves and may mute, remove, restrict, suspend, or terminate a user’s participation where Ofcourse reasonably believes that the user’s conduct violates these Terms, community guidelines, applicable law, or the safety, integrity, or proper functioning of the Audio Session/waves or Platform.

Ofcourse does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to Audio Sessions/waves and shall not be responsible for interruptions caused by technical failures, internet connectivity, device limitations, third-party services, maintenance, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond Ofcourse’s reasonable control.

Users acknowledge that statements made during live discussions may be spontaneous, incomplete, opinion-based, or subsequently corrected and should not be treated as authoritative professional advice.

Ofcourse reserves the right to establish additional rules, eligibility requirements, participation limits, recording policies, moderation standards, and access conditions for individual Audio Sessions/waves or categories of Audio Sessions/waves from time to time.

Orbits/Community Forum and User-Generated Content

Here User means anyone who uses the services of Ofcourse combining of all types of accounts. For user’s understanding,

Orbits refers to Community/forums Inputs refers to Comments

Ofcourse may provide community forums, discussion boards, comment sections, groups, or other interactive features that allow users to post, publish, submit, upload, share, or otherwise make available thoughts, opinions, text, comments, images, photographs, information, links, questions, answers, or other content (“User Content”).

Users are solely responsible for all User Content posted or submitted by them and for the consequences of making such User Content available on Ofcourse. By posting User Content, the user represents and warrants that such content is accurate to the extent it purports to state facts, does not violate any applicable law or regulation, does not infringe or misappropriate any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other proprietary rights, and does not contain unlawful, defamatory, provoking, anti-national, abusive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, adult content, obscene, fraudulent, misleading, or otherwise objectionable material.

Users shall not use the Orbits/Community Forum to advertise, promote, solicit, spam, impersonate another person or entity, distribute malware or harmful material, collect personal information of other users without authorization, or engage in any activity that may disrupt, manipulate, abuse, or adversely affect Ofcourse, its users, or the operation of the Community Forum.

Ofcourse does not endorse, verify, or necessarily agree with any User Content posted by users and shall not be responsible or liable for the accuracy, reliability, completeness, legality, or suitability of User Content. Any opinions, statements, images, recommendations, or information expressed and shared by users are solely those of the respective users and do not represent the views, opinions, or recommendations of Ofcourse.

By submitting User Content, the user grants Ofcourse a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable license, for the duration of the applicable rights, to host, store, reproduce, display, perform, distribute, adapt, modify, format, translate, and otherwise use such User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve, promote, and provide Ofcourse and its community features.

Ofcourse reserves the right, but assumes no obligation, to review, monitor, moderate, restrict, edit, disable access to, or remove any User Content, at any time and for any reason, including where Ofcourse reasonably believes that such content violates these Terms, applicable law, the rights of any person, or the safety, integrity, or reputation of Ofcourse or its community.

Ofcourse may also suspend or terminate a user’s access to the Orbits/Community Forum or the Platform where the user repeatedly posts prohibited, unlawful, harmful, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate content, or otherwise violates the applicable Terms, policies, or community guidelines.

Users acknowledge that User Content posted in an Orbits/Community Forum may be visible to other users and may be accessible beyond the user’s immediate audience. Users should therefore not post confidential, sensitive, private, or personally identifiable information that they do not wish to disclose to others.

Ofcourse does not guarantee that User Content will remain available, preserved, or displayed in its original form and may remove or modify User Content in accordance with its policies, operational requirements, legal obligations, or legitimate business interests.

Nothing in this clause obligates Ofcourse to monitor or review all User Content, and Ofcourse does not assume responsibility for proactively identifying every violation, unlawful statement, infringement, or other issue contained in User Content.

Expert

The Ofcourse may, at its sole discretion, grant an “Expert Badge” or similar designation to an Expert, Instructor, Creator, or other eligible user whose qualifications, experience, expertise, content quality, learner engagement, professional achievements, or other criteria are determined by the Ofcourse to meet its applicable standards. The criteria for granting the Expert Badge may be established, modified, or withdrawn by the Ofcourse from time to time.

The granting of an Expert Badge is at the sole discretion of the Ofcourse and does not constitute a guarantee, certification, accreditation, professional license, employment relationship, or representation that the Expert possesses any particular qualification or level of expertise.

Ofcourse may request supporting documents or other information to verify an Expert’s qualifications, experience, credentials, or professional claims.

Ofcourse reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to refuse, suspend, modify, or revoke an Expert Badge if the Expert no longer satisfies the applicable eligibility criteria, provides inaccurate or misleading information, violates Ofcourse’s terms, policies, or applicable law,

receives substantiated learner complaints, engages in conduct that may adversely affect Ofcourse’s reputation, or for any other reason determined appropriate by the Ofcourse.

The granting of the rewards, awards, gift, monetary benefits provided to the experts is at the sole discretion of the Ofcourse and does not constitute a guarantee of it. Ofcourse reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to refuse, suspend, modify, or revoke the rewards, awards, gift, monetary benefits provided to the experts.

Ofcourse reserves the right to permit or prohibit the expert/experts to create audio waves.

An Expert Badge is non-transferable, non-assignable, and personal to the account to which it is granted. The Expert shall not represent the badge as an official government, university, regulatory, or third-party accreditation unless expressly authorized by the relevant issuing authority.

Ofcourse may publicly display the Expert Badge and related designation on the Expert’s profile, courses, content, search results, promotional materials, or other areas of the Platform. Ofcourse may also establish additional requirements, verification procedures, renewal periods, or different levels of expert designation from time to time.

Expert Leaderboard

Ofcourse may maintain and display an “Expert Leaderboard” or similar ranking feature that recognizes experts, instructors, or creators based on engagement, learner feedback, course performance, community contribution, consistency, expertise, or other performance metrics determined by the Platform (“Leaderboard”).

The Expert Leaderboard is informational and promotional in nature and is intended to recognize contributions within the Platform. A position on the Leaderboard does not constitute a guarantee of professional superiority, accreditation, endorsement, employment, earnings, commercial success, or any particular level of expertise outside the Platform.

Ofcourse shall have the sole and absolute discretion to determine the methodology, eligibility criteria, scoring system, ranking factors, weightage, categories, frequency of updates, and duration of Leaderboard positions. Such methodology may be modified, suspended, or replaced at any time without prior notice.

Leaderboard rankings may be influenced by factors including, but not limited to, course quality, learner satisfaction, completion rates, community participation, content consistency, verified credentials, platform activity, and other qualitative or quantitative measures selected by Ofcourse. Ofcourse is under no obligation to disclose its proprietary ranking algorithm or evaluation methodology.

Ofcourse reserves the right to adjust, correct, suspend, remove, or revoke any Leaderboard position where it reasonably believes that rankings have been affected by fraudulent activity, artificial engagement, manipulation, inaccurate information, policy violations, technical errors, or any conduct that compromises the integrity of the platform.

Experts shall not manipulate or attempt to manipulate Leaderboard rankings through fake accounts, purchased engagement, misleading practices, automated activity, coordinated abuse, or any other unfair means. Any such conduct may result in removal from the Leaderboard, suspension of platform privileges, termination of the expert account, or other enforcement actions.

The Platform may publicly display an expert’s name, profile, photograph, badge, achievements, statistics, ranking, or other related information in connection with the Leaderboard across the Platform, marketing materials, or promotional communications, subject to the Platform’s Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Leaderboard positions are dynamic and temporary, and users acknowledge that rankings may change at any time based on updated performance metrics, eligibility requirements, or Platform methodology. The Platform does not guarantee continued inclusion or maintenance of any particular ranking.

Any rewards, recognition, visibility, incentives, or benefits associated with the Expert Leaderboard shall be governed solely by the Platform’s applicable policies or promotional terms and may be modified or discontinued at the Platform’s discretion.

Student/User Leaderboard

Ofcourse may provide a “Student Leaderboard” or similar ranking feature to recognize and display students based on their learning activity, course participation, progress, achievements,

assessments, community contributions, consistency, or other criteria determined by the Platform (“Leaderboard”).

The Student Leaderboard is intended to encourage learning, participation, consistency, and healthy competition among users. A student’s position on the Leaderboard does not constitute a certification, academic qualification, guarantee of performance, or representation of the

student’s abilities, knowledge, or future academic or professional success.

The Platform shall have the sole discretion to determine the eligibility criteria, scoring methodology, ranking factors, weightage, categories, calculation periods, tie-breaking mechanisms, and frequency of Leaderboard updates. The Platform may modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue the Leaderboard or any component of its ranking methodology at any time.

Leaderboard rankings may be calculated using factors including, but not limited to, course completion, lessons completed, assessment scores, learning streaks, learning time, assignments, challenges, achievements, community participation, and other learning-related activities. The Platform may exclude certain activities, interactions, or transactions from Leaderboard calculations at its discretion.

The Platform reserves the right to correct, adjust, suspend, remove, or revoke any ranking, score, achievement, or position where it identifies or reasonably suspects inaccurate data, technical errors, fraudulent activity, manipulation, automated activity, use of unauthorized

methods, account sharing, or any violation of the Platform’s Terms, policies, or community guidelines.

Students shall not attempt to artificially increase their Leaderboard position through multiple or fake accounts, automated tools, fraudulent activity, unauthorized access, manipulation of assessments or learning data, account sharing, or any other method intended to unfairly influence rankings. The Platform may take appropriate action, including removal from the Leaderboard, cancellation of achievements or rewards, restriction of access, suspension, or termination of the relevant account.

The Platform may publicly display a student’s name, profile information, avatar, ranking, score, achievements, badges, streaks, or other learning-related statistics in connection with the Leaderboard, subject to the Platform’s Privacy Policy and applicable law. Users may be provided with applicable privacy or visibility settings where available.

Leaderboard positions are dynamic and may change at any time based on updated learning activity, scores, eligibility, corrections, or changes to the Platform’s ranking methodology. The Platform does not guarantee that any student will remain at a particular ranking or retain any particular score, badge, reward, or position.

Any prizes, badges, certificates, benefits, discounts, recognition, or other rewards associated with the Student Leaderboard shall be subject to the applicable rules, eligibility requirements, and promotional terms established by the Platform. The Platform reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue such rewards in accordance with applicable law and the relevant terms.

The Platform may use reasonable measures to detect and prevent manipulation of the Student Leaderboard and may withhold or delay the publication of rankings where verification or

investigation is required. The Platform’s determination regarding the integrity of Leaderboard activity shall, subject to applicable law, be final and binding for purposes of administering the Leaderboard.

3. Content Offerings

Changes to Content Offerings

Ofcourse offers courses and content (“Content Offerings”) from its own team , individual experts , celebrities, teachers/professors ,industry experts, educational institutes, universities and other providers (“Content Providers”). While we seek to provide world-class Content Offerings from our Content Providers, unexpected events do occur. Ofcourse reserves the right to cancel, interrupt, reschedule, or modify any Content Offerings, or change the point value or weight of any assignment, quiz, or other assessment, either solely, or in accordance with Content Provider instructions. Content Offerings are subject to the Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability sections below.

No Academic Credit

Ofcourse does not grant academic credit for the completion of Content Offerings. Unless otherwise explicitly indicated by a credit-granting institution, participation in or completion of Content Offerings does not confer any academic credit. Even if credit is awarded by one institution, there is no presumption that other institutions will accept that credit. You agree not to accept credit for completing a Content Offering. Ofcourse, instructors, and the associated Content Providers have no obligation to have Content Offerings recognized by any educational institution or accreditation organization. Ofcourse is a private platform for guidance, mentorship and knowledge. The certificate

we provide is from our side and it is not the guarantee of any degree. It is skill improvement private platform only.

Disclaimer of Student-Content Provider Relationship

Nothing in these Terms or otherwise with respect to your participation in any Content Offerings by Content Providers : (a) establishes any relationship between you and any Content Provider; (b) enrolls or registers you in any Content Provider institution, or in any Content Offering offered by any Content Provider institution; or (c) entitles you to use the resources of any Content Provider institution beyond participation in the Content Offering.

4. Your Content

User Content

The Services enable you to share your content, such as homework, quizzes, exams, projects, case studies other assignments you submit, posts you make in the forums/orbits, and the like (“User Content”), with Ofcourse, instructors, and/or other users. You are responsible for, the User Content you create and share. User Content does not include course content or other materials made available on or placed on to the Ofcourse platform by or on behalf of Content Providers or their instructors using the Services or Content Offerings. User Content also, does not include any changes, modifications, updates, enhancements or any kind of derivative works made by you to the Services and Content Offerings, including with the use of any artificial intelligence features provided to you on the Platform. As between Ofcourse and Content Providers, such Content Offerings are governed by the relevant agreements in place between Ofcourse and Content Providers.

How Ofcourse and Others May Use User Content

To the extent that you provide User Content, you grant Ofcourse a fully-transferable, royalty-free, perpetual, sublicensable, non-exclusive, worldwide license to copy, distribute, modify, create derivative works based on, publicly perform, publicly display, and otherwise use the User Content. This license includes granting Ofcourse the right to authorize Content Providers to use User Content with their registered students, on-campus learners, or other learners independent of the Services.

Nothing in these Terms shall restrict other legal rights Ofcourse may have to User Content, for example under other licenses.

We reserve the right to remove or modify User Content for any reason, including User Content that we believe violates these Terms or other policies.

Feedback

We welcome your suggestions, ideas, comments, and other feedback regarding the Services (“Feedback”). By submitting any Feedback, you grant us the right to use the Feedback without any restriction or any compensation to you. By accepting your Feedback, Ofcourse does not waive any rights to use similar or related Feedback previously known to Ofcourse, developed by our employees, contractors, or obtained from other sources.

5. Security

We care about the security of our users. While we work to protect the security of your account and related information, Ofcourse cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security measures. Please notify us immediately of any compromise or unauthorized use of your account by emailing support.ofcourse@gmail.com

6. Third Party Content

Through the Services, you will have the ability to access and/or use content provided by instructors, other users, and/or other third parties and links to websites and services maintained by third parties. Ofcourse cannot guarantee that such third party content, in the Services or elsewhere, will be free of material you may find objectionable or otherwise inappropriate or of malware or other contaminants that may harm your computer, mobile device, or any files therein. All users of learning materials hosted on the Ofcourse platform are expected to abide by the following standards to ensure the integrity of learning within Ofcourse learning experiences. Learners are expected to familiarize themselves and comply with the Terms of Use for the Ofcourse platform and any code of conduct, academic policy, honor code or any institution’s requirements associated with programs which a learner has enrolled onto through the Ofcourse platform has established.

Academic misconduct undermines the value of Ofcourse hosted credentials and devalues the authentic efforts of other learners. Learners who engage in misconduct are therefore subject to consequences as described below.

Academic misconduct is defined as any activity which circumvents, or attempts to circumvent, the learning experience provided by the course through violation of course learning policies or specific policies provided by the instructor or outlined by the syllabus, or misrepresentation of the authorship or conditions of completion of course activities. The following standards provide clarification of the most common types of academic misconduct, but the list is not exhaustive. Other behavior may constitute academic misconduct in a particular course or across the Ofcourse platform.

Work within an Ofcourse activity – all activity on the Ofcourse platform including logins and all course activities is subject to these policies. Work includes but is not limited to exams, quizzes, expert review activities, assessments, discussion board contributions, guided projects, case studies and labs. Furthermore, activities outside the platform that pertain to coursework on the platform are also covered by these policies.

Unauthorized – activities that violate ofcourse’s Terms of Use, course or platform policies, activities which are illegal, or those activities which violate academic standards or standards of integrity that a learner on the Ofcourse platform should be expected to know are considered to be unauthorized.

Violations

Plagiarism: Plagiarism is when you copy or reproduce words, ideas, or any other materials from another source without giving credit to the original author. Plagiarism also includes the practice of employing or allowing another person to alter or revise your work, and then submitting the work as your own. Learners may discuss assessments among themselves, or with an instructor or tutor, but all assessment submissions must be original works done independently by the learner. This includes work paraphrased, translated or otherwise modified using automated means. Plagiarism can also include self-plagiarism, where a learner submits the same work that they had already submitted for another assessment or module, where this is not disclosed and permitted.

Use of Unauthorized Materials: using or consulting unauthorized materials (including electronic materials and generative AI tools including, but not limited to, ChatGPT or similar software or applications) or using unauthorized equipment or devices on any work within an Ofcourse activity, unless expressly permitted.

Unauthorized collaboration: working together with any person on any work within an Ofcourse activity unless expressly permitted.

Contract cheating: paying, trading, or otherwise getting another person to create work for submission to an Ofcourse course or for work within an Ofcourse activity.

Impersonation: completing work within any Ofcourse activity (including but not limited to exams, assessments, and learning activities) when logged in as another user or having another user complete work within an Ofcourse activity when logged in as you; otherwise misrepresenting the authorship of work submitted on Ofcourse.

Unauthorized sharing of resources: making any information about or solutions to homework, quizzes, exams, projects, and other assessments available to anyone else (except to the extent an assessment explicitly permits sharing solutions). This includes both solutions written by you, other learners, outside resources, or any solutions provided by the course staff or others.

Fraud: any misrepresentation about the authorship or the conditions under which work within an Ofcourse activity was performed not otherwise specified or falsifying any evidence in support of any mitigating circumstances claim.

Other: any other behavior that confers an unfair advantage to you or someone else or any activity that attempts to dishonestly improve your results or improve or harm the results of others in the performance of work within an Ofcourse activity.

Any matter/dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the district court of Surat, Gujarat, India Only.
